
Ken ZhengOCMS Vice-President OCMS Chinese Instrumental Orchestra Music Director & Conductor OCMS Youth Orcestra Music Director & Conductor Mr. Zheng is a music graduate of the China Film College. In 1980, he started his career in music as a performing member of Pearl River Film Orchestra. From 1982 to 1984, he took part in orchestrating scores, editing and producing for television programs. During that time, he was engaged by several famous publishers as the chief orchestra and conductor. He also collaborated with famous music producers and artists to develop music records and film scores. In 1984, Ken became the chief recording engineer and composer for the White Swan Recording Art Publishing Company. Since then, he composed and conducted over a hundred productions, many of which are his own compositions. In 1991, he participated in an advanced study trip to Anthony Recording Art College in San Francisco, California. Currently, he is the vice-president of Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society, the general manager of the OCMS Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Music Director & Conductor of OCMS Chinese Instrumental Orchestra and OCMS Youth Orchestra. He is also a member of Socan of Canada. The highlights of Ken’s performances include: the 2000 Universal Singing Competition, the music performance in Missisauga’s “An Enchanting Musical Jorney to China" World Vision Concert. He has also composed, edited several music technical requirements books for The Royal Conservatry of Music of Canada.
